My Herba-Lifestyle!

The following post on this horrible fat-hating campaign in Georgia originated on Fierce, Freethinking Fatties. Please help us put some pressure on the hospital that is funding this effort. Contact information is at the end of the article. Please, please, please reblog and share with everyone you know. Every voice makes us louder.

(via Hammer Time — « Fierce, Freethinking Fatties)

I think the message that obesity levels in children are at their highest and that most parents are to blame is an important one to get across. I think parents need a wake up call that all the things they feed their children affect the child’s health. I do NOT think that this is the way to get the message across.

I think this is a good way to get the message across. So sick of these politically correct people “omg its ok to be fat!!” STOP TELLING PEOPLE THAT.

We’re not saying its ok to be fat/obese/unhealthy.  We’re saying it’s NOT ok to insult CHILDREN for being heavy.  Teach them the right way to eat and exercise while they’re young, don’t just blatantly insult them and call them fat.  Its hurtful and will cause psychological damage and self esteem issues rather than helping them get healthy.  Politically correct is saying a person is big boned instead of fat, these adds are flat out insults and if said allowed would be considered verbal assault.

About

I am a 21 year old psych major working part time.
I've always struggled with my weight until I was dragged into an herbalife nutrition club. I started on September 9th, started this on October 3rd. This is my Journey. Will post pictures as well as recipes :D

I started this journey 195 pounds, I started this blog at about 182.
I weigh in every Wednesday and my goal is to lose 2 pounds a week. :)
